1. Gin Gimlet

"A real gimlet is half gin and half Rose's lime juice and nothing else" - Raymond Chandler, 1953.

Sorry to break your heart Raymond, but we're taking the opportunity to build on a classic. However, we're going beyond just adding new ingredients, we made and infused our own gin with a botanical blend.

Ingredients:

  • Gin (Infused if possible)
  • Hudson & Lee Honey Simple Syrup
  • Lime Juice (muddled from limes)
  • Lime (garnish)

Instructions:

In a shaker, muddle the lime wedges in simple syrup. Add gin, lime juice, and fill with ice. Shake for 8-10 seconds. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice or serve up if you prefer. Garnish with lime.

2. Honey Vodka Sweet Tea

Honey Sweet Vodka Tea

As front-porch season approaches, we like to prepare with this Honey Vodka Sweet Tea as a bubbly, lemony twist on a traditional favorite. Enjoy as is, or add more honey syrup if you like a bit more sweetness.

Ingredients:

  • 3 Cups of Vodka
  • 3 Black Tea Bags
  • 1 Cup Hudson & Lee Honey Simple Syrup
  • 5 Tbsp. Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice (or 2 medium lemons)
  • Club Soda

How To Make It:

Pour three cups of vodka into a pitcher and add then add the three tea bags. Allow the vodka/tea mixture to stand for three hours. Remove tea bags (make sure you squeeze out all the vodka from each bag back into the pitcher). Add the honey simple syrup and lemon juice and stir well.

Toss some crushed ice into a rocks glass, then top with 1.5 shots of the vodka tea and 1.5 shots of club soda. Garnish with a lemon slice and enjoy!
