This healthy snack (or appetizer) is perfect for adding a satiating crunch to your next meal. Not only are these roasted brussels sprout chips packed with flavor, but they're also chock full of vitamins like B6, iron, magnesium, potassium, and thiamine. Oh yeah, and the Wasabi Sea Salt is sure to put some extra pep in your step.

While these can be left to sit and be munched on throughout the day, they are best consumed while they are hot, crispy, and fresh out of the oven.

Crispy Brussel Sprout Chips with Wasabi Sea Salt

Ingredients

  • 1 pound(s) brussel sprouts
  • 3 tablespoon(s) olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon(s) Gustus Vitae Wasabi Sea Salt (or more or less to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  2. Remove the leaves off of the brussels sprouts; this is the time-consuming step, you may need to cut into the stem to effectively remove the leaves. Get as many leaves as possible (Hint: When sprouts become small from leaf-peeling, save small sprout and stem and set aside, bake separately for the same, but differently-textured snack)
  3. Gently toss the leaves in olive oil
  4. Place leaves on baking sheet
  5. Sprinkle Wasabi Sea Salt over the brussels sprout leaves
  6. Bake 7 minutes and turn over
  7. Repeat until leaves are brown and crispy, but not burnt
  8. Remove, serve, and enjoy!
