About Simply Straws
Our glass straws are made of borosilicate glass, the strongest glass available, which makes them perfect for basically everyone! They are nontoxic, recycleable and provide a pure drinking experience!
What do I drink with them?
Everything! Our glass straws are perfect for any beverage. Hot or cold, thin or thick, sugar or caffeine, we have a straw for everything. If you're feeling adventurous we have used our wide straws for soups too!
What is BPA and does it matter?
BPA stands for bisphenol-A. BPA is found in polycarbonate plastics and epoxy resins. Studies have linked BPA to hormone disruption, increased breast and prostate cancer cell growth, early onset puberty, and obesity. Simply Straws is proud to say we are BPA FREE!
Why do Dentists & Hygenists recommend theses straws?
The dental community has become aware even those on a healthy diet are prone to acid wear of teeth, a worrisome escalating trend. Erosion of the enamel on your teeth can make them more sensitive to temperatures and also makes your teeth more prone to decay. Using a glass straw helps minimize contact with the teeth and helps reduce the effects of acid on tooth enamel, while removing the harmful exposure to BPA that would be found in a ordinary plastic straw. If you use a straw to protect your teeth, we always recommend a reusable glass one!
Where are you located?
At Simply Straws we do everything by hand, based out of California, we take great pride in what we do. We even use recycled materials along every step.
Returns & Exchanges
What is you return & exchange policy?
We accept exchanges or returns within a 30 day window as long as received in original condition. Customers are responsible for return shipping but Simply Straws will ship the exchange, free of cost.
How long will it take to receive my order?
We try to ship orders immediately but orders are typically fulfilled and out the door within 3-5 business days. If you selected an expedited shipping method of 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air, your order will typically ship within 1-2 business day.
Caring For Your Straw/Products
How do I clean my glass straw?
Your glass straw is dishwasher safe. We recommend after every use to rinse with clean water and either place in an upright container (utensil holder) or place in your antibacterial hemp sleeve for protection. When necessary use the appropriate size Simply Clean Brush for a spotless, immaculate and pristine straw.
How do I store my straws?
We have found a number of ways to store our glass straws. Simply Straws makes available a number of different size sleeves to accommodate everyone: single sleeves for your purse, car or backpack, 3 straw sleeve holds more and is for the active person and our 6 straw sleeve works well for home resembling a beautiful jewelry roll. Check out what we have to offer. For quick access we love to leave them in an up-right position in a glass vase in our kitchen, giving everyone the opportunity to experience drinking out of a glass straw.
How do I clean my straw and mason sleeves?
It is easily cleaned either in your washing machine or by hand. These sleeves may shrink slightly upon washing but will stretch back to its original size once in use, like your jeans. We recommend hand washing your mason sleeves for this reason.
What do I do if my straw looks hazy?
At times your straw may look like it has a film on it. This may be due to hard water deposits. The easiest solution is to place your straw in white vinegar then rinse with clear water, again place in an upright position to dry.
Standard shipments within the United States are usually sent via USPS or UPS. Retail orders will ship within 3-5 business days after the order is placed and payment is received.
Please allow 4-6 week lead time after the order is placed and the payment is received.
Our policy lasts 30 days from purchase date. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer a return, refund or exchange. For any return, exchange, or refund we require an order number, receipt/invoice or proof of purchase. Any item not in it's original condition, such as damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error, is not eligible for a return, exchange, or refund. We will not accept any item more than 30 days after purchase date.
