Goin' Explorin' is a 64 page illustrated story about two wide-eyed young explorers who meet and embark upon an adventure of discovery. Along the journey, the two friends light up the night by catching fireflies in a Mason jar. Written by Mary Arete Moodey and illustrated by Justin Wisniewski, the storybook was inspired by the creation of reCAP Explore - the first ever glow-in-the-dark, magnifying cap for Mason jars.

From the book:
"Take a deep breath, stand up straight - straight as you can -- and say, 'I'm going exploring," Papa tells his grandson, the evening before they celebrate their joint birthdays, The following morning, after Stephen Ryan gulps down breakfast, he grabs his net, yells, "I'm goin' explorin'," and bolts out the door, for he is the youngest boy known for surviving dangerous expeditions.
It isn't long before Papa joins him. Searching for fireflies, they hiks as far as the Hemlock Forest, where they spot a glowing mushroom. No sooner does Papa head for home than SR glimpses a shadow darting behind what everyone knows is a "haunted house."
